These terms apply to your use of pet-acu.com and related services operated by 9stars Wisdom Tech Co., Ltd. (“PetAcu”, “we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

1. What PetAcu provides

PetAcu is an educational resource and clinic directory. It does not provide veterinary advice or services. Please read our Medical Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

2. Using the site

  • You may use the site for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes.
  • Do not copy, scrape or republish substantial parts of the site, bypass security, or interfere with the site’s operation.
  • Do not use the site to send spam or to post anything unlawful, misleading, defamatory or harmful.

3. Accounts

Some features require an account. Give accurate information, keep your password confidential, and tell us about any unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

4. Clinic listings and claims

If you add, claim or manage a listing, you confirm that:

  • you are authorised to act for the clinic or practitioner,
  • the information you provide is accurate and current, including services, licences and credentials,
  • you will not claim a credential, certification or affiliation that you do not hold.

You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, display and edit the listing information and images you provide for the purpose of operating the directory. We may verify information, apply labels as described in our Editorial Policy, correct, hide or remove listings, and refuse or reverse claims. Claiming a listing is not verification. If we offer paid or featured placement, it will be subject to separate written terms and will always be labelled.

5. Content you submit

You are responsible for what you submit and must have the rights to it. You grant us the licence described above. We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law.

6. Our content and intellectual property

The text, charts, images, design and software on PetAcu belong to 9stars Wisdom Tech Co., Ltd. or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view the site, share links to pages, and quote short extracts with credit and a link. Any other use needs our written permission. Third-party trademarks and clinic names belong to their owners.

7. Third-party links and products

The site links to third-party websites, products and services. We do not control them and are not responsible for them. Products sold by other sellers are sold by those sellers under their own terms. Digital products we sell on Gumroad are subject to Gumroad’s terms and the information on each product page. See our Affiliate and Product Disclosure.

8. Disclaimers

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that content is accurate, complete or current, that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any clinic listed is qualified or suitable for your animal.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, 9stars Wisdom Tech Co., Ltd. and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profit or data, arising from your use of the site or from any dealing with a listed clinic. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$100. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including consumer rights that cannot be waived in your country.

10. Corrections and takedown requests

If you think content on PetAcu is inaccurate or infringes your rights, email us through the Contact page with the page address and details. We will review it promptly.

11. Changes and termination

We may change the site or these terms. The “Last updated” date shows the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept it. We may suspend or end access to the site or any service at any time.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which 9stars Wisdom Tech Co., Ltd. is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence continue to apply to you.
